Tuesday, May 25, 2010 12.00am The scene opens up showing an ordinary looking corridor with a man standing nervously by a door taking a breath before opening it. Gabriel is dressed in jeans, a white singlet and black wrestling boots. Solomon also has black elbow pads and tape around his fingers feeling almost ready for his audition. As the door makes a click signaling it's now closed Gabriel looks around the sparse room. There's some basic gym equipment along the walls with uncomfortable looking chairs. In the center of the room is an old worn ring where two guys are overheard talking amongst themselves. Walking towards them feeling confident, yet obviously showing his nerves, Gabriel announces his arrival and readiness for his audition. Tbc.

Wayne turns 180 and flashes a slight smile at the trainee, seeing him offer the torn invite.
-:Wayne Fitzpatrick:- "Gabriel, I presume."
Recieving a nod from his student, Wayne slaps his hands together and rubs them slowly--all the possibilities that lie ahead for the Angelic Diablo run through his head as he sizes up the young upstart. Turning from Gabriel to the other man in the ring he puts one hand across the mexicans back and explains:
-:Wayne Fitzpatrick:- "This is Emiliano Rodriguez, an aerial specialist, he'll be running through your audition with you today. As there isn't so much of a difference in build and likely style between you it's advisable that you take any and all opportunities to learn from him that you can. Today though is more about giving us a chance to evaluate exactly which areas of your training need the most work and where you already shine. I want to see you keep the match rolling, keep the pace up, given your size it'll be important when facing opponents who have a big size advantage over you that you're able to move around the ring and seize opportunities whenever they appear. Just follow Emiliano's instructions and you'll be fine..."
All three look over to the door as it opens and The Tank walks in.
-:Wayne Fitzpatrick:- "Ah good, that is Adam Atkins, he's here to officiate your match. I think we've said all there is to say, do you have anything to ask before we start?"

Looking over the Mexican, Gabriel smiles at the opportunity to learn from such an experienced Lucha Libre wrestler. Removing his shirt to show not only a toned body, but also a few scars Solomon stretches his limbs, loosens up his joints and shakes his head. Nerves still giving him butterflies he throws his shirt to the side before responding. ~Gabriel~ Can't think of any questions right now dude. Feeling nervous as a fly in a spiderweb, but I'm sure everything will go just fine. Only request, I suppose, would be don't take it easy on me. Give me everything you have. To Be Continued by Steven.

Drawing his arms together Wayne motions for the two men in the ring to go at each other.
-:Wayne Fitzpatrick:- Alright, lets get it on!
Both men step in and lock arms, struggling back and forth for power, neither man getting an immediate advantage but their fight gives Adam a chance to get himself in the ring.

Walking towards the wrestlers, Adam positions himself to make sure of no funny business. As both grapple for the advantage over the other, they end up on the ropes rolling from one turnbuckle to the next, neither willing to surrender the first opportunity. The lack of experience from Gabriel showing through as Rodriguez fakes a turn to the left, as he does so the Mexican is rewarded by his opponent loosing his footing. Reacting from instinct after years of intensive training, Rodriguez places his arms under the shoulder, pops his hip and delivers an impressive snap suplex. Solomon landing with a audible thud followed by the sound of yelling out in pain as his spine is jarred. Running at the ropes the Mexican jumps, springboards off the second rope and lands back first on the ribs of his foe in a modified senton . Shifting his weight, the older wrestler is easily back to his feet heading straight to the turnbuckle. Gabriel with barely enough time to get back to his feet is nailed by a missile drop kick throwing him in a three sixty degree roll to the other side of the ring. Taking a moment to gather his breath back Rodriguez, jumps up, flips forward in an excellent example of a standing moonsault. The result not exactly as he had foreseen, as the trainee using the ropes pulled himself outside the ring, leaving his teacher to eat canvas. Sliding under the rope as Adam barely reaches a two count, Solomon without even getting to his feet, grabs the ankle, and twists to an awkward position. After a groan of denial from the veteran Luchadore, Gabriel releases the ankle, kips up, runs to the ropes and uses the rebound to launch himself before jumping up slamming his full weight to the ribs. Solomon attempts a basic armbar, but the experienced wrestler easily counters by tripping up the young dude. Being a friendly match, Rodriguez gives his opponent a chance to get back to a vertical position. A nod of respect by both wrestlers, they once again go to lock up in a test of strength, however Emiliano quickly grabs the arm and throws Gabriel in a Japanese arm drag. Solomon getting back to his feet is surprised to see the Mexican flying towards him. More so by instinct than anything else, Solomon grabs both shoulders, jumps backwards, then with brute force slams his opponent face first in a modified leaping reverse STO facebuster. To be Continued.

Subtly signaling towards Adam to seperate the two men and help them both to their feet, Wayne grins as he talks abruptly.
-:Wayne Fitzpatrick:- "Alright I've seen enough. That's plenty boys, this is only an audition spar after all. Emiliano , that's all for now, head to the showers."
Emiliano shakes Gabriels hand before slipping out the ring, stretching as he trecks back towards the gym hall exit, offering but a few words as he departs.
-:Emiliano:- "The kids not bad...We'd need to see more before we can make a true judgement, send him over to me for some training when you're done with him."
-:Wayne Fitzpatrick:- "Yes, I can't say I'm not impressed. Thanks for your input Roddy. Gabriel, that was a good showing but there is definite room for improval. On first look I'd say the majority of our work with you for atleast the first few weeks will concern your tendancy to rush into moves before properly reading your opponent, leaving yourself open to easy counters. You did good kid, although he clearly overruled you this time don't forget Emiliano has had more turns round that ring than alot of big name champs, so the fact you didn't let him run rings around you goes heavily in your favour.
Either way we've gained some good experience and insight into your ability from this little outing which will allow us to outline your training plan, we'll discuss it more at your first training session with myself and Emiliano at 0900 hours on Monday morning. Before then however it's important you go visit the Academy's on site doctor Edward Castlegate sometime between now and then for a routine check up...Just incase. I'll see you soon young man, now if you'd kindly make way we've got another audition starting in ten minutes."
End of Audition (OOC: Very promising roleplay, it was more than I expected, be sure to check the training boards if you need any help out of character.)
